Accidentally contact from Matt Kalil sends Cam Newton to the ground. HE’S OK!

Cam Newton knocked down rolling right in goal line passing drill by Matt Kalil. Friendly fire. He’s OK.

Matt Kalil accidentally clipped Cam Newton as the QB was rolling out to throw and he went to the ground BUT HES FINE NOBODY PANIC

Collision between Matt Kalil and Cam Newton sends Cam to the turf. Everyone holds breathe. Can't say I have ever seen that happen before in camp.

If Matt could do this to opposing defenders...

Too many people on here still giving Rivera a pass for his horrible decision making skills.  Only way i see amini not starting is if he gets hurt. I have seen enough of Rivera to know how this is gonna play out and so should everybody else mini camp, training camp it doesnt matter. I do still hope by some miracle im wrong.

Cam Newton did not speak to reporters this spring. He’s not required to, but would’ve been cool to hear his thoughts on Norv Turner, DJ Moore and David Tepper, not necessarily in that order.

Joe, if you weren't constantly trying to start drama about him he would

I seem to be seeing more pictures and more chatter about Norv being very hands on in practice, tweaking things, in the guys' ears a lot etc.

It may be selective memory, but I don't recall seeing Shula doing this alot.  Am I just going into automatic Norv good / Shula bad mode, or are we really seeing something different?

Shula wasn't a very good teacher and it was discussed a few times.

The cart is coming out for Bryan Cox Jr. Looks like an ankle injury - can't put any weight on it.

Jarius Wright just gets open, dang

Torrey Smith, Christian McCaffrey, Damiere Byrd, DJ Moore at returner during punt drills

I believe we've found our "Mr. Reliable" folks... From the looks of things at least.

Haynes <> lock. Cox, if healthy would make the 53 over Haynes.

He's a 4th rounder and Rivera and Washington clearly have plans for him. He's definitely a lock for the 53. May not be a gameday active most weeks but we're not trying to send him to PS. Cox more likely to make it through to PS if we don't IR him.

I disagree. Unless cox plays really well and Haynes really sucks then maybe he gets cut but from what I have read Haynes has done pretty well for a rookie. We drafted him knowing he would be some what of a project because he is only about 235 pounds so he will need to take some time to gain weight and could end up a healthy scratch on game days.

That said I believe we will keep 5 DE including Haynes. If we kept cox that would make it 6. We have too much talent to keep 6 DE in my opinion.
