Hey Yall, Cam is healthy

Cam has not been healthy in training camp since 2015.

In 2016 he was recovering from ankle surgery and it really showed. After training camp practices he was visibly in pain as he made his way slowly up the hills to the lockers.

Last year he could not even throw the ball yet.

This was him yesterday...

Cam is healthy for the first time since his MVP season.

Think about that.

Going to be a special season.

Just gotta get him through the rest of training camp and this preseason.

And a miracle needs to happen with this oline or he won't make it through Regular season

I firmly believe that Cam is going to have his best season to date.  He will be in the MVP running again this year.  My Cam Newton 2018 stat predictions:

4100 yards passing, 38 TD's 13 INT's, 655 yards rushing 10 TD's

Grand total of 4755 yards and 48 TD's.

Panthers go 12-4, win the NFC South and win the Super Bowl.

    • I don't think working from memory is going to be very productive or useful. You would need to compare them all, which is far easier to do from the breakdowns of each game. That has tiered charts that give real data.  But, even then that wouldn't substitute for a trained eye(s) doing detailed film analysis to attempt to determine if we are modifying the offense dramatically for Bryce.
    • I think front office and general team culture under new ownership is sort of on the right track. The rookies all look incredible compared to where you'd expect each one of them to be right now. Lee's in game coaching is awful, he might be ok as a culture and developmental guy but that can't outweigh the in-game miscues and bad game plans. If LaMelo can't figure out the ankles then I think you gotta trade him for a haul, can't keep having your seasons lost every year because he can't stay on the court. And I say that as a big fan of him. Miller I think is unlucky, he looks likely to be an elite core player for us, but if he can't put together a stretch of healthy seasons he would trend towards LaMelo and need to be moved. I used to like Miles on the court a lot more but nowadays he's just an empty stat guy who needs to go. The short lived hot start to the season was fun but unless LaMelo and Miller both get and stay healthy within the next few weeks I can't even see us being a play-in team this year. And even if they do get healthy, we're probably looking at play-in at best, maybe barely compete for that fringe 6th seed.
