I wanted him last year. Last time we picked up an in the box safety drafted in the second round who didn't live up to the hype he had a pretty good season and parlayed it into a big contract. Let go Hurney.

is mike Mitchell even with a team anymore?

And you can tell that sitting from your couch?

From the article

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport noted that, aside from injuries, one reason Melifonwu was waived was because Oakland "never quite felt he loved football enough."

cant tell from the couch, but im sure the staff that deals with him everyday can get a good idea

No because he sucks.

Like for real, he's not very good and this board overhypes him because he played well for our Defense that had the most sacks in the league that year. He has been below average ever since.

Thanks bro, Mitchell was garbage before us and after us but they still want him back

If it wasnt for his lack of desire to play the game of football.

Honestly I think he'd be a good prospect and groom at OLB.

He is almost identical to Shaq coming out but more athletic and played safety in college.

You see more and more of the smaller OLB in the league now.  Kyzir White a guy some people here wanted to draft for SS.  The chargers, have moved him to OLB.

He can play up, move, and tackle with some ability to cover TEs and the slot but cant cover over the top

    • Damn Logan Jones had a good day too. Was high on him coming in as he anchored that top Iowa line and is a fire plug inside. He's gonna be 25 to start the season so maybe he slips into the 4th but I doubt it, even if C isn't a premium position. His play on the field was top notch and the combine boosted it again. Arm length is about the only knock. But guy is plug and play at C.   This is a loaded class at C. Need to grab one.
    • Bryce will be permanently replaced by a draft pick. There's not another Sam Darnold out there to save us. Tepper is going to see this throw because he dumped Mayfield and Darnold too soon. He's going to give it 1 more year before he will sign off on dumping another 1st round pick qb. Thats the cold hard truth of it. It doesn't mean we can't get younger and much better at the backup position.
    • Maybe I should have used a different word and saved that for me. I want someone that has something impressive about them.  Someone that has potential to supplant a guy who is producing 25th best type of numbers. 22nd, 27th all that bottom third neighborhood.  I don’t know where that will come from it just can’t be from even a 4th round pick this year IMO. Unless FA is crazy productive.    I’ll give Bryce a better than bottom rating for his playoff game. Well above low twenties. But at least half of his games were bottom third level. Probably 2/3 to 3/4 of them were.
