If Moton turns out to be solid at LT the first few weeks.  Is there a real possiblity there will be no Kalil on this roster next year.

And is this staff frustrated with Matt?  It seemed our doctors cleared him, they then said it was nothing major.  Then next thing you know, word was he went to an outside doctor and we immediately put him on IR

Will our staff work the officials with this new Helmet rule and the amount of shots Cam takes.  Will we see a spike up of calls go our way for the first time since weve had Cam?

What kind of role and how much play time can we expect from CJ Anderson? Since we didnt see much in preseason

And overall impressions of Tepper so far.  And players feelings of the new Big Cat

What's the biggest change you've noticed in the Tepper era so far?

I'm seeing all the new banners / artwork on social media. (Eg a big Panthers sign at airport and a huge billboard/ mural on a parking garage in uptown).

Also there was the whole 2 states one team tour (Panthers reps and SirPurr going to 5 or 6 different area cities minor league baseball games etc...)

How much of this is new versus just increased hype? It's hard to judge being so far away.  Seems like a whole new burst of energy and team pride / promotion.

Was there any discussion and/or clarification sought by the Panthers regarding the two personal foul penalties in the 4th preseason game? After those calls, I do not believe a Steeler QB was touched behind the line of scrimmage. These nearly last minute and partially understandable rule changes worry me extensively.

@t96 - Everything we have heard is that it was a minor procedure - but anything with a heart obviously makes it a little more serious. Doesn't seem to be a concern of IF he'll be back, now biggest question is when. Right now the sense is it won't be too long, but we'll see.

As far as Daryl week one - think there's a possibility but more importantly they are going to be cautious. Have other guys who have filled those roles in the preseason and gotten some good experience if needed on Sunday. Amini Silatolu has been further along in rehab (torn meniscus) than Daryl, so we'll see.

As far as TD coming back as captain, we wondered the same thing. Teams can have up to six, so they'd have to make some changes when he comes back if so. But with injuries, etc in the past, they have sometimes changed during the season.

    • PJ's completion % was 63% when starting games in Carolina.  Which I believe is better than Bryce when starting.  And again, 4-3 as the starter here and the LONE QB Carolina has been able to actually win with in the Tepper era.  If you ask a gambling gunslinger to come into blowouts.....they are going to go down in a blaze of glory.  Which he would do.  Yeah, he isn't good.  And gunslingers are supposed to have rockier stats than checkdown QBs.   So....why does PJ Walker have a better comp % as a starter than Bryce Young.  And for every knock you want to make about PJ, you can find something or a skillset that PJ does better than Bryce.   I didn't say PJ had good field vision.  He doesn't.  Tell me about Bryce after he comes off the first read lol.  Let me repeat, PJ Walker is not a good QB.  He is NFL depth and an in house arm.  Bryce Young doesn't belong in a convo w/ Jake and Cam.  He belongs closer in a convo with the backup caliber QBs Carolina was forced into playing.  Which isn't just PJ Walker.  But Kyle Allen.  Moore.  Guys like that.
    • Oh I see what you meant by memory. I will trust my memory, I have looked a a lot of those ball charts for Bryce and they trend a general pattern. They thing that has changed that I have noticed more recently is the reduction in the bunching of behind or at  the LOS passes over to his right.  Aside from the quantity of throws recently since the running game has become a more dominant factor.
    • Yes but you basically said you are going from a quick skim of those charts without doing the same for Bryce and/or Andy. So you are going memory vs. snapshots. That's not going to be a very comprehensive analysis.
