NFL.com now says "completion percentage isn't everything" after Cam's 71% game.

This is pretty much parody at this point. The national media cannot make up its mind.

Only thing consistent is trying to fit whatever narrative they can to make sure Cam Newton never gets credit for anything.

Sunday's loss was a reminder that completion percentage isn't everything. Newton connected on 71.1 percent of his passes, but the inefficiently is concerning for the Panthers offense moving forward.

This is absolute parody right now.

Oh and PFF says Cam Newton sucks. They ignore CJ Anderson's bumped interception as well because they have to fit a narrative. They also ignore the possibility of route miscommunications and drops and strangle themselves finding a way to say Cam was bad.

It was not a great day for Cam Newton, who earned his bad interception luck with two dropped interceptions coming as a result of careless throws. That inaccuracy and decision-making helped put the Panthers in comeback mode, and while he valiantly tried to rally, it was too little too late ultimately.

Like seriously this is peak PFF pathetic analysis.

They were watching a completely different game. We were in comeback mode because the defense allowed 8 yards per play and had drive killing drops.

I was very happy with cam cmc and Wright on offense. Very displeased with the Defense.

i don't care that much when the media does it but every dipshit armchair football expert on the internet's favorite talking point/hot take is "cam isn't that good i mean look at his completion percentage"

i assume we'll be going full circle back to the 2011/2012 "stats don't matter only wins and rings" angle if he keeps it up
