You just don’t mess around with the heart. We don’t need someone dieing on the field after a hit to the chest. I am starting to think we may never see him out there again.

Dramatic.

Listen guys, athletes with heart abnormalities  are nothing new. Not every abnormality is a career ending situation. Educate yourselves and stop presuming on what you don’t know.

Perhaps you remember a guy named Star?

Well, Star didn't even a heart abnormality, he had a false positive on a test due to an acute illness. This is a bit different, he had a procedure to address an actual problem they found.

Obviously it’s a bit different. Doesn’t make it a significant procedure or a career ending pathology.

Your blind if you can see the talent Samuel possesses. Let him take care of his health first then where get this train rolling. Cut Torry Smith as well. Funchess the way he’s been playing won’t be here next yr especially since he’s not Hurneys guy. So let’s young guys gain experience. Ian, Byrd, Samuel, Moore good young nucleus build around.

If it was a career ending issue don't you think his procedure would be more than an outpatient procedure.

The pessimism in this forum is taking over.   I am sure that if his procedure was career threatening we would have heard about it by now.

Either way by this week or after the bye.   I guess there are two trains of thought.  One let him play before the bye and see if anything else needs to be done or save him till after the bye and all should be good.

    • Lost their OC and DC to head coaching gigs. They’ve struggled with injuries and there’s been regression too. One could argue their strength of schedule has had an impact (second most games against play off teams). It was always going to be a difficult season for them. Campbell has no history as a play caller before Detroit. He’s never been an OC in any of his previous stops. So it’s not surprising to see mixed results as he’s not known for offensive prowess. What Campbell brings to the table is leadership, respect and culture setting philosophy.
    • Watching Rivers making adjustments based on pre snap reads is a revelation. Didn't we draft Bryce because he's reputedly a super processor who can shred defenses with his intellect? Well, well, well...
    • Maybe give the Panthers more Prime time stand alone games next season.
