Interesting viewing from last season

This mic'd up segment from the playoff game against the Saints last year shows a lot of Sean Payton on the sidelines and Julius Peppers on the field.

I'll warn you ahead of time there's some stuff in here that'll piss you off (pre-game comments from Drew Brees for example) so if you choose to watch, don't get mad at me.  You were warned :)

Donte already a huge upgrade across from James and our biggest issue that game was WR and compare our WRs from that game to our WRs now...

I watched it, I recalled it, I absorbed it.  It's okay, because this season that broom is going to go straight up Sean Payton's ass.  And I take slight solace in knowing that just one week after their cheesy sweep celebration, the lost to the Vikings in the most demoralizing and humiliating way possible, and ain't nobody forgetting that poo.

We drafted a new starting CB who's pretty good. Two of the top 3 draft picks were in the secondary.

Our first FA target was a CB who didn't disclose a significant injury.

Until we change our scheme up the Falcons and Saints are going to trash us no matter who we have in the secondary. Their offenses are tailor made to beat our defense. We could have Deion Sanders and Darrelle Revis playing CB and we'd still get dinked and dunked to death by those offenses because we'd have them playing 10 yards off the LOS.

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
