Jackson/Bradberry have the potential to be the best CB tandem we had since Gamble/Lucas

They’ll be better. Bradberry just got started and Jackson is a rookie. They’ve both got legit skillsets and youth is on their side for their athleticism.

Oh and just wanna say fug Jon Fox for not putting Gamble on Fitzgerald in 08 playoffs

One of the most confusing coaching decisions of all time.

lets not put the shut down corner on the best receiver in the NFL....

i believe Larry even thanks the panthers for not putting Gamble on him in the post game

That game pissed me off no end.  I kept telling my buddy that if I could see what the Cards were doing from way up in the upper deck, why couldn't the coaches.  Still pisses me off to think about it.

He did thank them.

It was like Fox outcoached himself. Like he thought, “Dont worry. Just you wait. They’re gonna switch Larry and put him on Gambles side. Then he’ll get shut down!.”

Fox deserved to be fired for that decision alone.  Anquan Boldin was hurt for that game... Stopping Fitzgerald was the most important thing on defense and Fox's arrogance got in the way

He's been getting more and more credit each week, but something about this past game cemented him to me as a top notch corner.  I'd say he's definitely in the top 1/3rd overall right now, and steadily improving him.  They kept going after him and he kept shutting everything down.

He reeeally reminds me more and more of Josh Norman every day.

    • I could be waaaaaaay off about Kon. I do fault myself into, to borrow a NFL phrase heavily "RAS" nerd on players, too much. There are PLENTY of athletic freak shows that are playing overseas(or Amazon delivery) cause they never figured out NBA ball. I can easily miss seeing the talent. Plus did he only have 2 dunks on the season??(is that for real??) I didn't watch over a few hours of duke, but not one point did I think "That Kon guy is a top 4 pick in the upcoming draft". IMO I still foresee Ball bringing the ball up, doing his weak isolation game and never even looking for Kon. That's his best trait according to everyone, shooting right? I do not see ball, bridges, miller or even williams making the extra pass to Kon for him to shoot a 3.  Then defense-wise, Im not ready to type the amount of questions I foresee in his ability for guarding NBA SGs or bench SFs for that matter. Not that NBA players care to defend, but still..... I just feel he's a bad fit for the current hornets, trades are taking place tho... Liam to me is a decent comp for Kon and he fell some, but was a 29 overall pick. Still around 13-21 was the good solid range for Liam and I thought the same for Kon. This is just a classic case of I need to see it. It add to this, Kon is like garlic. Ball is like sugar and Miller is like flour. Mix it together and chef Lee is not going to get me to eat that dish..... Honestly I don't know why Im this vocal about Kon. In past years I would be patience and not post and see what the kid has. The other side, insert classic white boy terms here- _____, ______, _______< etc >. Hornets do desperately need them. His crafty back door cuts, his willingness to stay a extra 2 hours to refine lees plays, keep playing with bruised limbs. I heard from many reports he's mentally tough and hornets by all gods need that. God they are such pussys.  I hope Im wrong and if so, I will give Kon his just props.
