Wow! They almost have better fans in London than NC. Go to any random bar in Durham or Chapel Hill on game day  and you’ll be hard-pressed to find a group of Panthers fans. It’s always Steelers, Cowboys, Seahawks/whatever bandwagon is hot.

If I lived outside the area, I'd be more likely to go to a bar to find the game. Here, I can watch on my couch, and even pause the game if needed.

I understand that. I watch all the game from home or a friends house now. Gotta save that money, but it’s nice to get out every once in a while.

That we are one of two teams who have not played there after this season is likely the driving force

I think the actual number is three, but your point is valid. The other purpose of our trip was to do due diligence for a London Away game experience “just in case” we get one next year.

Figured I would post this here rather than make a new thread since it’s closely related. We were in London this last weekend watching the game with a bunch of Panthers fans from several different countries. It was amazing, especially with Efe’s play.

So awesome that you were over there for this game and Obada showed out.  Sounds like a helluva time.

    • Arch Manning going completely nuclear today holy fug. Over 221  passing yards 2 Passing TDs and 155 rushing yards 2 rushing TDs. People were badmouthing and clowning him all year long, when this was his first year starting in college football. He really started to get more consistent in the last half of the season.  I'm convinced most people just watched Texas vs Ohio State opener and thought he was trash lol
    • It's hard to beat a good team twice though.  I think Seattle is the overall better team of the two, but the circumstances I believe favors the Panthers in that matchup.
