LOL! He kind of does to be honest.

Whatever though. He's not paid to talk.

Neither is Cam. What they are paid to do though, they do rather well (granted, Mahomes is still fairly new to it).

I think for me, his voice might not necessarily be nailed down to a particular Muppet. It's probably more accurate to call it Muppetish.

Related thought: I always wondered if the fact that he looked like a high-school kid hurt Jimmy Clausen a little.

(granted, Clausen was hurt a lot worse by the fact that he wasn't very good)

As to Newton, while he may not be the world's smoothest orator, he certainly does have a good quarterback voice.

Cams got the best cadence in the NFL hands down

Mahomes' teammates think he sounds like Kermit the Frog

That's his real voice? Seriously?

I remember Jake Delhomme's thick Cajun accent was a source of some humor when he first took over (his calling "haaaiiids" at a coin toss even made referee Mike Carey lose it) but Delhomme's accent adjusted. Mahomes voice isn't changing anytime soon unless you somehow goes through a second round of puberty.

It's probably a lot of fun listening to him call out signals.

Patrick Mahomes kind of sounds like Cleveland Brown from Cleveland Brown Show as well as Kermit.
