One thing I have noticed whenever Cam gets a first down running, we scramble to get the next play off.

Listen, I have no problem with Cam getting the crowd Hyped up and doing a first down point. The act does not offend me in the slightest. I'm a firm believer in the idea of "if you don't like it, stop him"

But the fact that he is the person that is responsible for calling the plays, and that his celebration delays information from being relayed to the rest of the team bothers me. It takes him 5-10 seconds to swag on the guys, then another 5-10 to get back to the huddle to relay the next play. That's time we don't get back for the next playcall. If he can reign the point to 5 seconds max, it wouldn't be an issue, but sometimes he lingers. Speed up the swag.

When in doubt, blame the QB for celebrating too much.

I personally think the COM sysyem in BOA is suspect. Has been for YEARS. Am I the only one who remembers last year Cam coming off the field pissed after he had to call a timeout and the NFL mics picked up his yelling "I can't fuging hear....(muffled *NFL mic goes out*)

It’s not even the celebrating... Cam is asked to do so much with his damn legs and even ran a few dudes over yesterday that he’s going to need a second to catch his breath.

For a WR it’s easy as sh!t to take your time getting back to the huddle to catch your breath and just having someone tell you your route if need be or even go sit for a play.

Cam doesn’t have that option and often times needs a second to catch his breath and rightfully so. He’s not a robot. I know you weren’t bashing Cam and I’m not here trying to argue your post I just think this part often gets overlooked.

I felt like  Shula was called back to call in plays ..

There were things on offense that I did like,, Samuels , D J Moore actually in the offense ( as more than a bubble screen or end around )

The clock management was difficult to watch,, getting plays in , in particular.

There   are no easy wins in the NFL ..  we take the win, and keep moving

The GOOD NEWS..  We're  3-1 after a quarter of the season.  If  Gano doesn't make that field goal, that's a horrible loss.

There are no easy wins but this team makes it harder than it really is

I don't understand why we aren't utilizing CJ Andersen more.  He had 4 run attempts yesterday.

might have had something to do with him averaging 2.3 yards per carry

It was a really bad rushing day for CMC and CJ alot of runs were just getting stuffed. I think thats to be expected after we burned the Bengals so badly on the ground.
