He needs to do the good guy veteran move and take the decision out of the coaches hands and tell Rivera that Moore and Samuel need to play more and that he is ok with coming off the bench when they need a rest.

it still annoys me to feel like most of Rivera's best decisions are made for him.

As far as his answer on the difference between Fitzpatrick's best and worst games, honestly any coach with Rivera's philosophy is probably going to give the same answer whether they've looked at the game film or not.

I'd like to see relatively equal snaps between Moore, Samuel and Funchess, with Wright getting some looks especially in critical situations.  Combine that with Olsen and Thomas at TE, and CMC out of the backfield and you have a scary, scary situation for an opposing defense.

I'd keep him rested through February.

He's still very useful to this team in a lesser role. I think as DJ and Curtis continue to progress and get better, we'll see Torrey a lot less even when healthy down the stretch. But definitely a worthwhile player to have and to use at times.

That whole healthy thing is bunk. The first 5 games those three played every game. Only the last two weeks were Curry and McCoy out. Let’s not act like they stopped anyone the first 5 games. McCoy is solid, but Curry and JPP are overrated.

Also, first game back isn’t usually the “great” game.

Yeah Curry has not been good at all this year when healthy and while McCoy is a beast he's no longer the dominant player he once was. Worried a bit about Fitz and their downfield passing game but not at all about their DL.

If not for his 4th down play, we lose to Philly. As long as he wears a Panthers uniform, I'm pulling for him.

I pull for Colin Jones too, but I don't want him starting or playing significant snaps at safety.

Smith as a number four I can accept. The fear is that Rivera will return him to the starter role again once he's healthy.
