You’ll see Pitt get a few penalties now. Refs will do it to even it out a bit so there are no glaring discrepancies in the box score. You see it in college basketball all the time too. Refs let them play then get whistle happy in the under 7 time out. 

We didn’t lose this game because of officiating, but officiating has been bad and certainly unfavorable.
