How Hot is Hurneys Seat?

Rons seat  shouldnt be the only one on the hot seat.

Hurneys Leashe shouldve been short to begin with after his past time here.

Moore looks like a stud, but the dude fell in our lap.  Hard not to screw that up.  Jackson has been a hit.

But FA pieces

Not to compare to gettleman.  But Gettleman brought in Key guys who made impact.  Ginn, Coleman (pre injury)

Hurneys FA pickups have been flops at the very best.  Nothing stands out that he should be certainly retained

Hurney had a good draft and offseason.  He can't make Ron fire his shitty DC.

That being said, i would completely understand if Tepper just cleaned house and brought in his own guys...  but, i still think Hurney 2.0 has done a great job.  This team's failures lie at the feet of the coaches.

I think Hurney is gone this offseason through no fault of his own.  His moves since returning have been a net positive for the franchise, regardless of what he did in his prior stint here.  His biggest issue has been the albatross of a contract we gave Matt Kalil.  While it was not on his watch, it certainly limited his flexibility.

Given what he's done this time around, he may actually get a shot somewhere else.

    • I turned to the NFL Network and they are playing the Wildcard Game against the Rams I think we gained a lot of respect around the league we hung in there for a while into the 4th Quarter 🙂
    • Does anyone know for sure if the game tonite will be on HBO max?  That is where I watched the last one and only access I currently have- I am in SE NC and no broadcast stations carry the games.😖
    • take a  look around the league at other young Qb's such as Drake Maye , Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix , CJ Stroud  & Caleb Williams who at the time like Bryce Young they also were drafted by teams with a losing record .the only difference with these Qb's is after joining their teams with a losing record they led those same teams to a winning record in a very short period of time .it's simply what you call a game changer & or elite Qb's & then take a  look at  the other side of the coin you have Qb's such as Trey Lance, Zach Wilson, Mac Jones, Justin Fields  & Anthony Richardson also like Bryce Young all first round picks who instead of winning either did not play or led their teams to a losing record while playing  Bryce Young who has an overall record of 14-30 & wildly inconsistent & never in the history of the NFL has a Qb 5'10" or shorter had a successful carrer as Qb in the NFL  if anything history is telling you exactly what ?..just saying
