Remember: It's just a game. You have no control over the outcome. Don't get upset.

I stopped getting super invested with this team after 2015.  You could do a fuging case study about the fan psyche on that season.  The highest of the highs, and the lowest of the lows at the worst time possible.  Still love em but it’s just not good to get too invested in something you have zero control over.

Let's all take a moment to remember that football is just a game. We fans have literally zero control over the outcome of each game. The outcome of the game today should in no way affect how you feel about your life and the people in it. Do not let the misery of this Panthers season get to you personally. Please take a moment after the game to remember that, then move on.

Brighter times are undoubtedly ahead. The Panthers are in a rough patch, but they have a lot of talent. We can all hope that things turn around this season, but if they don't, what can we do? Just sit and watch. It's entertainment.

I appreciate this. I get far too angry over this stuff. I too became ashamed of my behavior.

I stopped wearing Panthers jerseys because they did better when I didn't.

Though I do influence turnovers (two fingers pointed at the TV) like the fumble Luke picked up last week, that method returns as instant Karma, soon after that Greg limps off the field. SMH, harsh universe.

We all just need to remember that the Browns haven’t won a championship since the 60’s... they have been the laughingstock of the NFL for years... all the top 5-10 picks over the years and they still can’t make the playoffs.

No matter how bad this season ends up being, just remember that we ain’t the Browns

I've actually just accepted that we lose in the most disappointing fashions( BS plays, flags, choking, NFL storymode and rigging) simply because it's my team and my team doesn't get to win or be a success. Sometimes we forget that but they do a great job of reminding us. It is a comical way  I choose to think of it and you can't help but laugh sometimes watching the games. But I know there are others of you out there thinking the same thing lmao

Isn’t that nice

Its okay dude.

One day you'll be father and a husband and understand how wrecking your child's day over a football game you have no influence over is a genuine condemnation of how out of balance your priorities are.

I am married and have two daughters and we are all in

just don’t be telling them to sit down if they are in front of you at the game...

Why would I tell them or you to sit down? I'm 6+ feet tall and I'm sure that I could see over all of you because I'd be standing as well.

Dont confuse my appropriate perspective on the games with a lack of passion.  I just dont let the games impact my day beyond the 3-4 hours its on.

    • And those targets are mostly going to TMac, who will be a part of the FUTURE of the team. Did it remove the most reliable WR and Bryce's safety blanket? Absolutely. But it's also allowing him to build better chemistry with TMac, Stephens, Horn, Evans, etc. I am pumped to see Coker back and hopefully they can reignite that connection.
    • It's the same thing that made Bryce the #1 overall pick. I've never seen such mass delusion about a football player before. Everyone convinced themselves that the fact that Bryce was below to severely below average in practically every physical attribute for an NFL QB just wouldn't matter because he has everything else you need and that'll more than make up for it. When has such an argument ever been made for an NFL prospect before? We watch prospects plummet every year because they run a couple tenths slower in the 40 time than expected. Smitty had everything you want in a receiver except he was 5'9" so he goes in the 3rd round. That's the way these things generally go. If you check a lot of boxes but leave some key ones unchecked you're not an elite prospect. With Bryce though, the physically limitations were always obvious so it gave more time to be able to build that into the equation and come up with reasons for why he'd be able to overcome it. Now we have all these same shortcomings having shone brightly on the NFL field and we STILL have people trying to convince themselves he'll be able to overcome it while ignoring that our past two wins and his improved play have come while riding the back of RB putting up GOAT RB production over the past two weeks. What changed wasn't Bryce. What changed is that Rico is playing out of his damn mind. Pretty much every NFL roster caliber QB can shine if he can get 200+ yards out of the RB behind him.
