O-line is a bigger need than D-line

I don't think so. I think Moton and Williams can be the future at OT for us. We definitely need better depth though.

If Williams can return healthy.

Newhouse hasn't exactly been great on the left, but he hasn't looked quite as awful as Chris Clark did. Had they switched Moton to the left and put Newhouse on the right earlier this year, who knows?

Big thank you to Ron Rivera's roster management skills...again.

Watch film and stop paying attention to Pff, Williams is trash and Moton is mediocre. Starting from center to LG our line is a disaster. Larsen is a jag that won’t make a 53 man roster on another franchise

I watch games, I don't watch "film" (internet lingo for YouTube clips). I've sang the worthlessness of PFF ratings for years. Know who you're addressing.

I personally think if there's a franchise left tackle there in the first round the Panthers should take him. Left tackles are impossible to find in free agency, but pass rushers come out every year, because of their expense.

Oddly, offensive linemen used to be considered about the safest 1st round picks you could make. For the last decade they've been about the riskiest. Tons of busts.

I'm hoping Williams comes back and we end up with him and Moton starting, that combo should be better than anything we've had in years.  We do need depth all along the line.  Center probably should be a draft priority though Larsen can start.

I wouldnt be upset at all to see us draft nothing but O line and DEs all draft long.

Moton is solid

Williams is not going to be expensive.   Coming off knee injury and only 1 really actual good year

We have

Mario Addison

And

All 235 pounds of Marquis Haynes under contract for next year.  The same Marquise Haynes who has only been active 2-3 games this year because he gets pushed around so easily.

That IT, as far as DE under contract next year

Poe- gets pushed around too dam easily.  Falcants fans are Laughing telling us "I told yiu so about Poe"

KK Short trying to do it all but cant.

A Bust in Butler

And not going to be able to get a solid pass rusher cheap, or a replacement cheap.  Like you could in getting Williams to come back at RT and slide Moton over.

Theres only 2 LT in this draft who wouod be worth the Pick.

Greg Little has been trash this year and stock is plummeting.  Only thing keeping him up in the mock is his athletic ability and teams needing OT.

The pass protection is a disaster and has been all season. I say we bring in a big name free agent pass rusher and go o-line in the draft early and often.

I would argue that no team has enough depth at any position to survive the sheer number of injuries the panthers suffered this year on the offensive line.

That said it's pretty obvious the Panthers are going DB, OL, DL in the draft in whatever order makes sense.

Also in free agency.

If it were me, the first 3-4 picks would BPA on offensive and defensive line.  If a blue chip on either side falls to us in the 1st, then grab him and go opposite in the 2nd.  We are a solid O-line away from dominance next year.  CMC, Cam and our new young WR's and TE will do wonders behind a line that can keep Cam upright for 5+ seconds.  I believe that our o-line problems are the main reason we hit the skids.  Tired of them going for "jags" there.  Get some talent and watch the win column raise incrementally each week.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
