Herbert or Haskins, can't just pray Cams arm gets better. Have to have a contingency plan and you don't get to choose a good QB at 12 often.

We have no clue about cam currently, the guy has been healthy enough to play majority of his career and you havent even allowed him any sort of recovery process. Throwing that out the window and drafting a QB first this soon would be completely stupid. We need QB tho just not that early.

this class is terrible for 43 DEs unless like you like tiny players/ones who didn't produce, and if this team wastes a 1st round pick on an OT then you should just burn the whole thing down.

LOL this is one of the strongest pass rushing classes in years. DE is stacked...

I hope Gary drops to us.  There's a chance, but it's a slim one.  If not, Polite.  Maybe Ferrell, we'll see where he projects after the combine.  I know most rate him top 10,  but I did read one NFL scout saying both him and Greedy aren't top 10 material.

I want DE in the first, LT in the second, but I'll take the reverse if that's the way the cards play.

Almost all the guys you people are excited about are 40lbs underweight.

Sweat would get absolutely mauled at the point of attack.

No thanks.

You don't have any idea who I'm excited about and there is this thing called NFL strength and conditioning that almost all college players need these days

citation please*

Yes please.

The question with Allen is can he play with his hand in the dirt?

He's a 7 technique how well will he use his hands and how will his footwork be at 5 technique?

We need a 3 down 5 that can get to the QB consistently.  Not just a situational pass rusher.

Allen has the size and length--a Peppers-ish athlete who was too good to pass up there.  In reality, the other Allen (Boston College) is a better fit for us as a LDE--It bothered me not to take him, frankly.   Sad to be talking draft this early.

Win now?  LOL  We are the 4th best team in our division.  As far as a rookie QB not being ready for 3 years...you should really watch more NFL Redzone.

He didn’t say the rookie wouldn’t be ready. He said he wouldn’t play. And three years is conservative guessing. I’d guess more like six at least

    • Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.
    • This post was an error. Oops and sorry for the errors in the previous one. Too slow to edit.   We’ll see what they do.
    • I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
