Hope for the best. Plan for the worst.

That’s what smart people do

people who trot out Taylor Heinke as a NFL backup don’t appear to be particularly smart to me

this offseason is hugely critical to this organization. If Hurney is in charge of it, well, i. Truly depressed at the prospect

Unfortunately it appears the reports are true. Everyone is staying in place. This season failure is being blamed on Cam shoulder

No mention of the horrible defense I see

Yea Hurney 2.0 and now JR 2.0

It's like leg man never left. I guess JR2's thing is brass balls.

Heinike might be alright if we somehow get ace protection from a much improved O-line. Then again, he might not be alright at all. It's too small of a sample size and too big of an unnecessary risk to take when we really don't have to.

I would put a large sum of pennies on Allen looking better Sunday than Heinike did last week.  Kid gets some tough points for playing out that injury but I think Allen is just a better QB.

Based on their track records here in Carolina, there is already more than enough to justify the removal of Hurney and Rivera.

If Tepper chooses to hang on to both of these individuals, it will only a matter of time before their poor decisions make it impossible to retain them.  Unfortunately, by then, it may be impossible to undo the long term damage we know these two are capable of inflicting on the organization.

Bridgewater is the easy choice.

He gives the Panthers a chance to win while also not forcing them to draft a QB in the early rounds and committing to him for the future.

If you draft Grier and Newton can’t play next year then you might as well move on from Cam because you would be stunting Grier's growth by starting him next year and then sitting him the following year when Cam returns.

Sign Bridgewater and draft someone like Minshew in the 6th. If Cam can play then great, if not then we have a contingency plan that doesn’t involve moving on from him should he not be able to suit up.

Not only that but my eyes told me that Garret Gilbert was a better qb than Heinicke.  The only reason Heinicke got the nod over Gilbert was Norv knew him from Minny
