Tons of meaning for Jermaine Carter, andre smith, ian thomas, corn elder, rashaan gaulden, efe Obama and hell anyone on the roster on a rookie contract.  If you're one of those guys, better show the fug up or you'll be without a job sooner rather than later.  Getting overpaid waste players off and just seeing what young guys can do sounds fun compared to watching those guys fail week after week.
