Well, someone's not a Perry Fewell fan...

This from outspoken (and that's an understatement) Jacksonville DB Jalen Ramsey...

Fewell was most recently the Jags DB coach (2017-2018).

I'd take anything Ramsey says with a grain of salt. That dude's mouth spouts more nonsense than anyone I've ever heard.

Yeah, you have someone who doesn't like to listen to others. Jackson could eventually turn out to be that, but at least Bradberry will listen. This may be a viable substitute for bringing in a veteran pro corner. Id still like to see us kick the tires with the guy from the Giants if he's let go. He had a hell of a year.

It's interesting that Ramsey targeted Corn Elder and Rashon Gaulden with the tweet, isn't it? Leads me to believe that he is telling them to get ready, because Fewell will drive them hard.

Nothing said about Bradberry or Jackson.

There's no indication that either Bradberry or Jackson are difficult students. Both are where they are because they have talent and the ability to listen.

Ramsey, Gaulden, and Elder all grew up, or at least went to high school, in or around Nashville around the same time. I bet that's the connection.

    • It's not sustainable,  although he deserve credit for the win also, as he made clutch plays as he does with every win we have.
    • As much as I would love to sit here and bash on Young.  I can't.   He is absolutely a part of this team winning.  He is the cool hand leading the offense along with the hammer, Rico.  He's making plays on 3rd and 4th downs, that are absolutely helping thus team win.  Is Bryce playing as well as we'd like? Nope. Although he had only 1 week off from a high ankle sprain.   No question he was 100% in the Greenbay game.  I'm not even sure where the team would find a clear upgrade over Byrce.  He is a leader.  In the 4th quarter, he has ice in his veins.  He is a part of why our team is enjoyable to watch again.  Without him, we wouldn't be winning.    Anyways.  Y'all enjoy yet another thread designed to tear down the man.
    • Great article on all the Lil Canes attending their debutantes ball. Walt with a great breakdown of all the rookies, as always, and I'm a huge fan of his team coverage, he is truly a treasure, but as a fan of mixed metaphors and superfluous language which some might ignorantly refer to as a "run-on sentence" I never really understood what that mean or where to put the comma after a quote in the middle of a sentence, but holy poo Walt, this is a gem, "While there's a long road left in front of them left to determine whether or not they'll have that same success on the blue line again, the beginning stretch of the journey has been thrown a wrench, and the story on defense has been the emergence of up-and-comers forced into becoming lineup regulars." , bravo, take a bow, sir!
