That's a headline I wasn't expecting to see. Maybe without Marvin Lewis in charge, they didn't see his "attitude" as quite so valuable.

This was expected and eluded to last year. He's been one of the most injury prone players (karma?) the last several years and his play has slowed down a lot as well. If he was still playing at an elite level and healthy I'm sure they'd still love to have him despite his antics.

Burfict is one of a very few players who would force me to immediately reevaluate my fandom if we ever signed him. He's right up there with former Saints DC Gregg Williams in terms of untouchables IMO.

He was suspended to start the season for the 2016, 2017, and 2018 seasons.  Lets not break it now!
