That's what concerns me. But there are very few sure thing picks so we need to roll the dice anyhow. Hurney has a good track record in the 1st so I'm optimistic.

Hurney does so im trusting his judgment in first if Burns is the pick.   Burns is clay and the coaching staff will have to turn him into a beast with his great measurables. He is prototype in many eyes just has to be consistent and add more moves to his arsenal not to be a bust.

2 completly different players

Bosa the more traditional 4-3 DE, hands in dirt bigger guy.

Burns stand up more athletic rusher/LB like Miller and Mack were coming out.

Mack, Miller and Burns all played at around 235 in college as edge Linebackers who bulked up to 250 at the combine

Miller combine

6'3 250.   4.53 40.   37vert.    126 broad  6.7 3cone

Mack combine

6'3 251.   4.65. 40.   40vert.   128 broad.   7.08 3cone

Burns combine

6'5 249.   4.53 40.   36vert.    129 broad.  7.01 3cones

Let me be specific he has the potential to be great just as Bosa's greatness. Having a complete game in his tool box

Burns is more than just athletic  ability

Von Miller vs Burns college careers

Years 1 and 2 for Miller at A&M

Fresh: 2.5 Sacks 4 TFL

Soph: 3.5 sacks 7.5 TFL

Burns

Freshman: 8.5 Sacks 9.5 TFL

Sophomore: 4.5 Sacks 13.5 TFL

Miller blew up his junior season while Burns switched to the new scheme that he wasnt recruited or fit for.

But

Von Miller

Senior season: 10.5 sacks 17.5 TFL

Burns

This past season in new scheme: 10.5 sacks 15.5 TFL

In that order...

I've been praising White since at least December and if he falls to us he will 100% be the pick.

I have been wanting him as well and we never know about Luke. I hear people say we are set at LB but that's crazy. Luke is one concussion away and Shaq will never be the pick we wanted him to be.

Burns reminds me of Everette Brown..

That's trash logic...he only reminds you of him because they both went to florida state. They play nothing alike. Infact, When brown was at FSU they ran more of a 4-3 while the new regime since bowden lift has been more Bama like 3-4.

Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
    • You play the Saints that is great news for your O line.
