I've been watching Moton's reps at LT, 3rd pre-season vs NE, and Week 1 vs Dallas...

If we go OL in the 1st or even 2nd, I like the way our OL is shaping up,

Moton / Rookie / Paradis / Turner / Williams

Key Depth-

Larsen / GVR / Later FA Addition

I'm of the mindset even though we kicked the can on all the AAF OL, we bring in two via the draft,

I'd be 100% ok with

1st - Edge

2nd - S or OL

3rd S or OL

3rd - OL or DL / Edge

4th through the rest of our picks - HB / WR / BPA

We don't ''NEED'' OL in the first at this point after FA the Edge is the weakest position group right next to safety. As it stands we could start the season with the top 5 OL we have and be in better position (pending health) by a pretty decent margin as Paradis is an upgrade over Kalil at C, Moton is an upgrade over Kalil and Clark at LT, Williams back to RT is a former 2nd team All-Pro one year removed, and LG (GVR/Larsen/Mahon) is likely adequate to last seasons performance from that spot, and Turner is returning.

Considering the Tackle bust rate, and the fact that darn near every analyst mocks a tackle to us in the 1st round the last several years I'd be shocked if we passed on a pass rusher to draft OL.

We drafted Moton in the 2nd, Turner in the 3rd, and Williams in the 4th, Paradis was a UDFA. I'm much more comfortable with a Day 2 prospect at T/G than I am with a selection in the 1st.

On paper at least the OL hasn't looked this good since Gross' final season in 13', and the 15' season.

If ford is the BPA, football gods help us. He's a great looking RG, TT is here and signed for a premium. Sure he could play RT, again Panthers have not one but two young guys that are more than able and had at least one great seasons. Love the player, just not the match for this Panther team.

Where’s the OU guy, as I’d like his take on this guy? I believe his name was nctarheel or something like that. He was right about that lineman that everyone said would bust.

Let me see you bounce right and left and let your shoulder lean
Let your shoulder lean, just let your shoulder lean

    • Not in same league. Caldwell just hit a 10.00 on the RAS. 2nd out of 3830 from 1987 onward.  https://x.com/MathBomb/status/2027885023387349047 Yeah I mean Louis had a sub 9.00 RAS. Still very very good, no doubt. Louis is small, no 2 ways about it. He is likely a sub package lb in nickel packages or specialized WLB. Be fine ST gunner to start for sure. 6 foot flat and 220lb is pushing it for a starting LB. At 10 to 20lbs less than the other LBs he'd better be closer to the top in most timed drills. He's gonna be challenged when some of the wrs in the class can matchup bigger stronger faster, much less TE in the run game.  Yeah instinct matter and he has them, but that size is a massive red flag compared to many of the other LBS in this class.    Rodriguez is the LB that really climbed this week from a pure grit guy to great flash with athleticism people wrote off cause he was a QB at first at UVA. 18.4mph in the backpedal. Production the last 2 years were great. I'd be thrilled with him as the future mike.   Hill likely moved out of 51 and into the top 45 picks ( Ravens at 45 I can't imagine don't bite if he makes it there). Honestly Hill imo is a 1st rounder and I'd be ok with him as he fits the MLB we have missed the last few years. People would crow it's a reach but he's top 30 all-time I'm RAS for a LB at 9.9+ . Plus he was big time in big games when he was healthy. And that br a big check: meds.
    • Miller, Melo, Coby, Moose, and Bridges all on the floor at the same time must be a nightmare for defenses lol. Switch one out for Kon and still a nightmare. Coby really does bring a true 6th man value and looks like he could start if Melo was out after only a few games of getting his feet wet.
    • Well I guess he should stop playing football. This was his defining moment and chance to prove he was generational and he failed. What a waste of football life..
