  And he can play. He never broke through at GA but that talent is there. He plays much faster than that 40 time. Always thought he would be a great CB, but doesn’t seem to have the make-up for it. 

 

 

We went and basically got a Wes Welker/Edelman type of receiver that catches great and has good lateral change of direction, creates something out of nothing.

we going NE style except I wish if Tepper was going to influence the draft this much he would have pushed for versatile secondary picks too.

He isn’t that bad and does have a shot if we keep 6 WRs.  Absolutely does.

I see the 4.55 but he plays fast and has some great hands.  Competitive dude.

What were his other metrics? Edelman has a blah 40 but his others were actually great, shuttles, lateral movement, smart, makes lemonade out of lemons.

Relatively underwhelming pick. It's a 7th rounder though. Camp body/PS guy, most likely. Highly unlikely he is able to break through in our much improved WR corps.

Body control is a big deal for a receiver. it doesn't get talked about as much, but it was one of the things that made Steve Smith what he was.

Lack of it also made Legedu Naanee what he was. When that guy jumped in the air his limbs went in four different directions.
