Multiverse confirmed and some other Endgame tidbits

I can't help but wonder if the Multiverse talk is a misdirection by Mysterio and he's actually just using the snap to pretend to be a superhero from another Earth and he's actually creating those monsters seen in the trailer.

Probably start out good, end bad-ish.

Well done. I don't much remember Mysterio from the comics other than he was a bad guy who used illusions. So this explanation going in makes the most sense with what I've already expected.

That's what he does in the comics I believe. He wants the attention.

Ya the lady and I are convinced they are going to go multi-verse style something serious.

I wasn't going to go see spiderman but this trailer convinced me, I want to see how everything ties in to Endgame

Ya, I wasn’t either cause it’s rehashing an already done subject. Haven’t been a fan of the new Spider-Man as a stand alone. But just that little tug. You know somewhere out there in the multiverse Ironman, Cap, Thor, Hulk, Widow and Hawkeye are going to show up to save the day. Akin to Spacy in Se7en. Cannot wait, even though it’ll probably be 10 years.

id love for them to make everyone that watches it in theatres for a month to sign a NDA.

They have mentioned doing secret wars storyline, and if they base it off of the new secret wars, then prepare for tons of multiverse action.

Just saw it.

It was a really fun afternoon at the theater.

There are some genuinely miserable people in this thread.  If you cant just enjoy a movie for three hours and not worry about the how they screwed up time travel or how some thing conveniently happened to allow some central character to be in the perfect place at the perfect moment you need to reevaluate your world.

History is not going to be kind to this movie

Yeah I look at it as Star wars.

Both empire strikes back and infinity war setup the last movie in their respective series nicely.

Both final movies underwelm greatly.

I feel like too many people forget that these movies are based off comic books, in a Marvel Universe, where literally anything can happen. There are so many funky weird stories out there for almost every character. Maybe I've become numb to it (have been reading Marvel for pretty much my entire life), but I just kind of take it at face value, shrug and keep on with the story.

All that being said, I absolutely loved it. It had a lot of fan service (I mean Cap with Mjonir is amazing) and it wrapped up the stories of these characters really well (esp Cap's).
