Cam on shoulder rehab: 'I'm feeling great now' https://es.pn/2Wq2Mkh via @ESPN

Also says he feels full-strength.  It's encouraging, but I'm just hoping he continues to feel that way once he starts throwing.  I also hope he notices the difference in arm strength once he is allowed to let it rip.

I feel like I’ve heard the same story the past 3 years tbh. I’ll believe it when D.J Moore has a deep TD vs LA

I am basing what Im saying off of my own personal experience.  Mind you I was never in the same galaxy athletically or physically as Cam, but a shoulder is a shoulder, and surgery is surgery.  I tore my rotator cuff / labrum and had orthoscopic surgery to fix it.  They made it so tight that I could not lift my arm over my head for about 2 years.  I was a pitcher all the way thru college, and my arm was never the same.  I just know that once you go in and start messing with a throwers shoulder, very rarely do good things happen.

Tore the biceps tendon and was close to needing a full rotator replacement. Doctor basically tied everything together, after 6 months I’m barely at 75 degrees ROM

He's probably healed from the surgery just fine.  Hes just got to get mobility and strength back.  Pain free is good but lets ease into it.

His shoulder feels good right now and the team just drafted a QB...

Yep he's ready to go.

Sit down Cam, take it easy bro.

Good luck. I snapped my bicep tendon completely doing preacher curls at the gym a few years ago. They drilled through my forearm, tied it all back together and I never got most of the feeling back from my elbow down or regained full ROM. It's a long recovery if you elect for surgery.

"Rehab is going unbelievable, especially for me during a time now, a lot of uncertainty," Newton said. "For me, the human side of me is uncertain as well. But with the support cast from RV, the head trainer and other people that have been working with me hands on daily, I have no doubt I'll be ready to rock and roll when they expect me to be back."

"Everything starts and ends with me," Newton said. "I know my game play has to be more consistent for this team to be successful."

 God willing.

At the end of the day you can choose to be pessimistic, or hope Newton returns to form, and then some. Why be miserable in May?

If Cam bounces back like we hope, we have our QB, and another QB grooming behind him learning from one of the best in the game.

Our fans at some point have to take a look around at other teams, and appreciate things. You see what happened with Arizona. Two QB's drafted back to back and the future is still up un the air. Did they finally find their QB, or will they just be drafting quarterbacks every year like the Browns until they finally hit the jackpot? Bare in mind they've been looking for that guy since Kurt Warner left. It's been a long road.

Im trying to figure out how you INCREASE range of motion in a 30 year old throwing athlete's shoulder after 2 operations?  If anything after 2 surgeries his entire shoulder joint will be much tighter with much less RoM.  I sincerely hope this is not the case with Cam and he comes out lighting it up this year.  I have my reservations though...

This.

I’m hoping these are just blips in time like the Brees surgery.  And he comes out the other side like the Cam of before.

We have a decent line to protect him.  Weapons to throw to.  Hopefully we can find a decent backup running back to share the load a run the snot out of the ball this year.
