Don't Expect a lot of On-Field Action from Rookie Mini-Camp

Per Ron, we're taking a new approach.  This weekend will be mostly classroom-based, I guess in part because the lack of actual rookies compared to years past dictates it.

Ron knows he’s gonna actually have to depend on a few rookies to have a successful season plain and simple. So instead of stringing them along slow asf he’s actually going to put emphasis on learning so they’ll be ready to react without of thinking because they’ve been studying months earlier. Ok Ron you’re thinking ahead it’s like someone’s incorporating analytics and forward thinking to Rons game plan lol.

I like it. Much higher return on these guys knowing what their assignments are. There's only so much that can be done for them physically.

I love this.  Study study study.  I’d rather rookies see tape and x’s and o’s more and less running into tackling dummies.  Analytics and film study have changed the game.

I understand the approach.  Its really a perfect storm that lead up to it.

1) We need change things up

2) BoA is apparently not available anyways

3) Practice fields seem to be in limbo

4) We don't have a lot of players "trying out".  We have what..2 roster slots open?  I have a feeling they mostly have a plan for those two spots.  We aren't like the Bears that are cycling through 12+ different kickers for tryouts.

5) The people we drafted, we know what they can do on the field.  Its important they understand the Panther playbook leading into the real camps.
