With the Dumpster fire going on now which was/is the Worst

Jerry was stingy and didn't want to invest much leading to the CBA it was reported and moves such as trading a Future 1st for Everrett Brown, the eventual 33rd pick for Jimmy Clausen etc etc crippled this organization and plunged them to the worst in football.

The Hornets now.  Just lowballed the best player in franchise history.  Turned down a trade for him last year for what would have been the #8 overal pick and Marvin Williams (big contract off the books).  The owner is also is stingy and refuses to spend the money.  The Hornets are 1 of 2 organizations to Never spend a dime of Luxery Tax.

The NBA is not the NFL. You arent winning a championship without having a Top 10 player. The only teams in the last 20 years to do so are the Pistons who had a pretty stacked team and 2014 Spurs who still had 3 hall of famers and Kawhi beginning to come into his own. The Hornets arent winning a title with Kemba as its best player, you might as well save the money, tank until Batum and Marvin Williams contracts come off the books and hopefully you find yourself with top 10 picks for 3 years in a row to build around. Look at the Sixers, if they resign Butler they will compete for a title for the next 5 years. Do you think they regret tanking for 3 years to get Embiid, Simmons?

Stop.  If you think letting Kemba walk with absolutely no compensation is a good move you are stupider than they are

Shinn is the worst sports owner this city has ever had.

Johnson, Richardson, and Jordan aren’t much to write home about, either. Tepper doesn’t really have to do much to be the best. Hell, him building that practice bubble already has him in consideration as the best lol

Also Hornets just signed Terry Rozier for 20 million a year

that should be a wrap.

This is just sad. Charlotte just added another shitty contract for 3 years. As if they need more bad contracts. Charlotte doesn't deserve this team. Whoever thought the greatest player ever would be the worst owner ever? He needs to sell the team to a owner who knows how to run a team. MJ doesn't know basketball talent sadly.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
