Glad he is getting shine..can tell he is a good guy, but goodness this interview wasn't the most entertaining or informative lol.

Resembles his temperament on the field definitely.

he is the polar opposite of Josh Norman personality wise.  That last little dig at KK was funny though.

The guy does not get enough credit for going up against some of the best receivers and QBs in the league in the NFCS. Sure INTS are the big measuring stick, but the whole story should include passes defensed and how good coverage keeps QBs from throwing against him. He's a big, physical DB, but he's a mighty smart one, too, and very much in the Chris Gamble mould.

And Chris Gamble is the most underrated DB of all time.

He is. It’s a bit sad to hear how he impressed before the draft with his press on Wilks and how much he thinks of his ability there and then realize how many times we saw our CBs line up behind the first down marker.

Absolutely agreed. As good as he's been for us, we have to also realize that more often than not we've had him playing to his weaknesses and not to his strengths. I'd love to see us do more press and bail style coverage with him, similar to what Seattle does (or at least did during their "Legion of Boom" era).

Glad to see him getting some love. I feel like he's badly underrated by most fans and national media types because he doesn't get INTs.

Maybe he will change his style this season, big contracts need INTs.

His "style" is heavily based off of play calling and coaching. If we're calling for him to play 10 yards off then that's what it is. That's not his call. He's never going to develop Josh Norman or Richard Sherman type ball skills and hands. That's just not what he does. He gets a lot of pass breakups because he's a good cover guy, but virtually all of his INTs have been utter gifts. Like the old saying goes, there's a reason why he plays defense.
