its different when its a kid.  period.   your kid dying is a lifetime of devastation for most people.  your parents dying can be unbelievably difficult, but its not a lifetime sentence like the death of a child to most.  him pointing to racism is disgusting.

Maybe DeAngelo is suffering from CTE or he's just very low IQ but either way all of his comments since he left the Panthers seem like a misguided cry for help. He's likely very depressed.

or maybe a narcissist who holds grudges forever and is still upset he didn't get to show up in the panthers private plane for a funeral.

Who cares? Deangelo Williams is washed! He has been out of the league and off the Panthers for how many years now? And yet all he ever talks about is the Panthers. Dude needs a hobby or something.

It's like two exes trashing each other years later down the road. Someone's gotta let this go so we can just move on. 

So, how about we all just quit paying attention to what DeAngelo says and quit getting butthurt over it? Just let it be words on the wind and enjoy today.

It's really healthier for us, and eventually, for him, too.
