tbh, I honestly hope we can keep Godwin ...

I just get a good feeling about him. So many options but not enough spots.

Not to mention, the potential of White, Ross and Robinson... the last two come in handy on returns. Maybe even Mickens... White has untapped potential also.

One thing for certain, although they're dynamic I wouldn't prefer CMC, Samuel or Moore returning kicks this year.

Weapons indeed.

I've never been down w/ the player X is awesome but he shouldn't return kicks mindset.   Maybe not McCaffrey just becuase his volume is simply bordering on too high.

But kicks are just an opportunity for Moore or Samuel to have the ball in their hands.  And most likely, we won't be able to get either one of them nearly the touches they deserve in game.  So I would endorse them returning kicks.   We historically have underachieved the last decade on returns.

Crazy how this roster has changed.

The Carolina Panthers will have to cut a good wide receiver during Cam Newton's tenure due to numbers.

Never thought I'd say that. Now if I could just say the same for the o-line one day, it'd be time for the apocalypse.

This

We are only 3 years removed from Cam's MVP season where he was throwing to Ginn as the #1, Philly Brown as the #2, Cotchery, rookie Funchess, and Bersin

Samuel has been great. Samuel is a valuable piece.

DJ Moore is the clear cut #1. That’s how dominant he has been in his routes and his unreal hands. The man drops nothing.

Samuel is Ted Ginn with testicles.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
