Coach did have a pointed discussion with the ref over our guy getting his helmet torn off.  When he said "please" and "thanks" that ref knew he really meant "I'm quite troubled about the unfortunate event"

That part can be explained. He was being nicer because he was mic'ed up for tv. The commentary team did say later that he gave it back because it was "cramping his language use" lol.

Not worried. It's preseason. The players who've already have a spot on the roster couldn't care less. Their main focus is to not get hurt. We're good.

Team gave up a shitload of penalties and looked unprepared all across the board.  That’s as a result of bad coaching.

Maybe there is a reason the players are 2nd..3rd stringers.  Or just going to be straight up cut.
