I realize he is a finely tuned athlete with above average hand eye coordination and balance, but one wrong fall off that thing could end his season. Can't they roll him down to practice in one of these?

Image result for inside inflatable ball

Can't ever be too sure.

Yeah, nothing bad can happen zorbing.

Just going by what they say on the schedule

"Panthers training camp will wrap up with a pair of joint practices with the Buffalo Bills on August 13 and 14 before the preseason contest takes place at Bank of America Stadium on August 16."

"Panthers wrap productive 2019 training camp"

"Joint practices with Buffalo gave a strong end to a training camp that was largely successful for Carolina."

Was just going off the panthers beat writer

Rivera still monitoring competition at nickel back, safety and offensive line.

I hope that is not news to anyone--here is how I see it:

1.  Nickel--confirm Elliot deserves the job this week vs. Brady; watch competition between Gaulden and maybe Cockrell for the Elephant position.  Finding a home for Gaulden seems to be a problem.

2. As bad as things are, it is Boston's job to lose and RR knows it.

3.  Offensive line is where I worry Rivera's "monitoring" may not be enough.  We can hope Williams rises to average and Van Roten steps up.  I genuinely think the focus now is NOT on LT, but on LG...

The rest of the roster is pretty much set

I expect to see Elliot at nickel, Gaulden at Elephant.

I expect to see Boston playing FS--and that bothers me.

I expect to see Williams and VRoten at LOL.

Really looking forward to seeing EVERYONE of the starters in for at least the 1st quarter of play. Particularly looking closely at the Oline and Dline performances against very good competition.

Even if the game planning/play-calling isn't going to be all that intricate, I'm looking a lot at who's winning and losing the 1 vs 1s in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

Yep. LT and LG are a mess. We are depending on a RT, who’s biggest question was pass blocking, coming off an injury, to be Like you said “solid”. I’m not sure he’s an upgrade over Clark and Kalil at LT. I sure hope so, but there is as much a chance he can’t transition as there is he can. And this is not a signing question. There is no way, at that price, you don’t sign him to that deal. But can he play LT? Can GVR survive at LG. If this was the plan, why reach for a project LT and trade picks to do it?

This is this teams achilles heel. The one area that can derail all the weapons on offense. I’m serious about looking into Trent Williams.

Thank god you dont run a football team with that mentality. Then again, no one would hire you.... so.....

Right now it’s true. We moved up for a player who can’t start over a OT that has never played LT in his career. So until he proves otherwise, he’s depth and the decision to take him is still questionable.

Oh I understand this 100%.... and honestly he should be. Little is a future pick, not a right now pick. Honestly, I wouldnt be surprised if by mid season we put Williams at the LG and little at LT. Its the over  reaction and not big picture thinking that has me just baffled.

I’m surprised(or bothered) that it isn’t being done now. I have a hard time believing that combo wouldn’t be more effective overall.

And we just had too many holes to spend two quality picks on a “future” project. Is it that Little is that bad or Ron hanging with the vets. Who knows at this point?

Probably a job earned, as opposed to job given. Believe me, if GVR or Williams begin to struggle on role, RR will make the decision. That staff knows this isnt the year to be bullshitting. Just like a veteran qb with a rookie in the wings, they are on a short leash.

That leash was why I don’t understand why they went the direction they did with either position. But we’ll see.

Are we seriously pretending Daryl Williams isn’t a good player???
