IF the backups QB continue to perform the way theyve been.............

What vet would be worth dropping Heinicke and either Allen or Grier?  We aren't keeping 4 or 5 QBs.  

We aren't going to let a 3rd round pick risk be snatched off the PS.

What vet who isn't good enough to be the back up on his current team..will be cut and will make us a better team?

the biggest issue today (can't do anything about the past really in terms of football).....is CK would have to come back in the league as a true backup.  He isn't willing to do that.   So that is that.   Not suggesting he take Allen money but he would have to be willing to take on a real vet backup role w/ that type pay. 

Kaep wants the payout. I’d love to see the panthers offer him a 500K contract for 2 years publicly and see where he goes with that. As I said with Cams blessing of course.

Don’t sleep on the backup. I know everyone hates the Nick Foles argument but what if 2 years from now Cam goes down in the playoffs and Will wins us a few games. Also with cam’s playing style and the concussion rules it’s a huge plus to have a competent backup come in even if it’s for 1 play and you don’t have to waste a down on a handoff the defense knows is coming

well, you couldn't offer him that. 

a team could offer him Tyrod Taylor money to be the backup.  2 year/11 mill (6 guaranteed).  He isn't today in a position to expect more.

Testaverde situation. We'll roll with the backups we have. And in the event Cam suffers a season-ending injury, we'll bring in a journeyman off his couch to come in and start a couple games and be a mentor for the young guys. Absolutely no reason to bring in another QB now and shatter the confidence of literally every QB on the roster.

I know I will get crushed for this.  But I do think the answer is on the roster. Not popular with the way the 2 have looked.  

Lets see how they execute a actual gameplan this week and next week.  

I think one of the 2 will step up.  And Grier should be fine by next year at least once the game slows down.  

Mom not sure there is anyone else available right now that would be able to win 50% of the games (Including Kaepernick).  So might as well ride the mules you got.

Honestly, I’d trade them Grier and a 3 round to get Webb back. Get rid of Allen and Henieke(sp?). But Hurney is an idiot and won’t try for that.
