He was let go by three teams and ratings were not a reason behind any of them.

Subjectively drama like this tends to increase viewership and ratings are up this year. Objectively NFL ratings are up over last year even after Brown's accuser came out.

Do you really think that keeping accused rapists employed wouldn't lower ratings over the long run? Hell we had Panthers fans refusing to watch games or buy tickets so long as Hardy was playing.

The guy had about 40 million given to him and taken back over the course of a couple weeks for accusations that may or not be true.  I think a lot of people would be a little unsettled in that situation.

He had 30 mil taken from him because he threatened Mike Mayock and called him racial slurs on top of the other poo he did in the short time he was with the Raiders.

I'm pretty sure he also made a vlog about how thrilled he was with that release. Some people here even stated he was playing 9D Chess.

I'm not a psychiatrist, but I do a fair bit of volunteer work with mentally ill vets, &  Brown sounds a LOT like ones I know that are narcissistic with some bipolar thrown in.

How he got there is irrelevant. He needs some help now before he hurts himself or someone else.

No. The m.o. has (almost) always been that the team keeps the player employed while the NFL hands out the punishment. I have no evidence that this helps or hurts revenue.

Been saying it for weeks. He was obviously in mental trouble.

Not sure whether people actually somehow didn’t see all the signs or they chose to ignore them because of his talent. Either way it’s disturbing.

Total agreement.

the owner of the establishment was a sex trafficker. it's pretty doubtful he got a rub and tug from the 1 voluntary non-trafficking victim who just loves giving old men handjobs for fun.

I don’t think you know what sex trafficking means, might want to educate yourself before commenting.

    • Bryce has been playing the best ball of his career the last three games IMO. He wasn't the reason we dropped the game in NOLA. Seattle's defense will be his toughest challenge yet this season
    • I'll be at the game Sunday and up until last year I had a perfect attendance record. Now however I have seen us lose to the Chiefs (last year) and the Bills (this year). So we can no longer rely solely on my ability to pound overpriced beers to propel us to a win.
    • I haven't been able to watch Seattle on a dedicated basis but the Seahawks are a much better team by the all accounts: eye test, record and DVOA. Defensively they are sick. Best DVOA in the league first in rushing and second in passing. Offensively their passing game has been on fire this year led by JSN I can easily see this being like the Buffalo game where things just get out of hand for us early, that being said this league really is week to week and Seattle does have the disadvantage of traveling cross country for an early game.  If and big if, the Panthers are able to effectively run the ball and limit the amount of time Seattle's offense has to generate explosive plays we have a path to winning this game.  Seattle fans won't be happy to hear this but bad Darnold is always lurking in the background. He is truly an enigma to root for bc he will have an incredible throw that only a few people can make but then will turn around and throw the most bone headed pick of all time.  I think ultimately we drop this one as ultimately it's human nature to be looking forward to that week 18 game. But man how special would it be to be leaving the stadium on Sunday with a win and a miracle dolphins upset
