The next line does not.

Unless "you guys" refers to his fans and not Panther fans.

(groups that are not mutually exclusive, by the way)

Saying that he will continue to support the Panthers does have kind of an externalized ring to it as well.

Cary's right. It does overall sound like a goodbye.

It's utterly embarrassing that so many people want to run him out of town.

I say that knowing things may not work out for him to come back, but it will be a sad day if that does come to fruition.

Until then, I am going to support Kyle Allen this year with the expectation Cam will be back healthy and starting for us next year until I find out differently.

Cam is the f'ing GOAT.  IDGAF.  Forever the greatest, transcendent talent we ever had.  Our first and only MVP.  He deserves nothing but the best.  I just hope we don't see him in another uni.

I’d rather see him in another uni than too hurt to ever be effective again.

    • i presented this in another thread. he throws better to the out breaking routes the wr run, but almost nothing to the inside. that is half the options on a wr route tree. How do you run an offense like that?  even the outbreaking routes he throws are moonballs, that allow the DBs to catch up unless the wr is wide open. he has to throw with a lot of anticipation becuase he doesnt have the arm strenght to get it there if he is a little late. thats probably why you see balls behind the wrs.
