It really speaks to a lack of leadership in the locker room, which has been talked about before on this board.  When a team plays poorly and the coach is fired, some come together and put together a few wins or at least solid games.  The Panthers folded up the tents and went home.

Rivera's assistants are trash, as clearly seen from what happened once he left.

But Rivera himself, IMO, was a decent defensive coach.  But he was not a good HC ultimately.
