Am I the only one who thinks its insanely ironic that Ron was fired after losing to the lowly Redskins as a final straw, and no is likely to be their coach?

I don't think any other teams were after Rivera

His agent was just spinning it that way to compensate for the fact the Redskins were the only team willing to hire him

Even Rivera isn't dumb enough to think a Dan Snyder team with Haskins at QB is his best fit, unless he's desperate

Which is very interested, cuz according to here teams would be lining up for Rivera. Why the hell is he jumping at a dysfunctional team like the redskins so damn fast?

I think he is desperate. Ron's pride was hurt by being fired before the season ended. He better be prepared for the Washington media if he's hired. They won't be scared to call him out like the Charlotte media was.

the last thing rivera wants is a team with high expectations. he wants a situation with plenty of excuses.
