Panthers job is not a quick fix. It's gonna take time, development, changes. The hire makes a TON of sense.

is big fan of Rhule. Got to know him, says he looks at how he runs team and staff and "these people are doing it right." Also interesting... He says look for him to "bring Phil Snow as his defensive coordinator from Baylor to Carolina."

If the number 1 skill for a head coach is vision and leadership then this might be a great hire. Apparently Rhule has that in spades.  This might mean we keep folks like Scott Turner and maybe keep Norv as special assistant to help him make the transition. I don't know but I am going to be optimistic until there is reason to change my mind. Not sure I want him to bring all his college buddies along or how well connected he is at the NFL level.

I was more of a McD or Bieniemy fan, but Rhule is an intriguing hire that deserves a “wait-and-see” approach. 
 

Tepper definitely swung for the fences, and history honestly says that new owners don’t usually make the correct first coaching hire. Time will tell, but we definitely hired an exciting, innovative and offensive minded coach.
