I don’t want a buddy buddy culture here as far as the coaching staff. Makes it harder for the HC to fire underperforming coaches. And this dude has followed Matt many places. Would hate if he’s the DC.

I think it’s funny everyone is flipping out about Phil Snow when the article is about Sean Ryan. Typical reactions with people flipping out about Phil Snow when nothing states he will be our DC

Completely agree. Not a solid NFL hire. This is a massive roll of the dice. I guess Tepper didn't get where he is playing it safe, but damn, this is a gamble like we've never seen from this organization.

Stats mean nothing to the Huddle. He’s a bum who shouldn’t be allowed to clean the restrooms in BOA much less coach Linebackers or anyone else on the team. We should hire Marvin Lewis to coach our linebackers instead. / sarcasm

guy like Tepper didn't get where he is without taking YUGE hits. 

I do think since he came in and just rode the Richardson/Hurney/Rivera era for a bit it has really prevented us from knowing Tepper as an owner.   Basically we can just forget he owned the team then.

Now is the start of getting to know Tepper.  I think in the end he will get it right.  But yeah, this all screams growing pains that he will one day be talking about.

The article just list OC... no where does it say he picked him as a DC other than he’s bringing him in to “coach defense”. Most people can’t even name who our position coaches are, and some of you are acting like we are fugged for years if we hire him as a position coach.
