I would normally be for it but at his pricetag we would be able to snag a WR that is similar in style in round 2 or 3 without breaking the bank. I guess if we can get him for a decent price and move him to 2, Curtis to the slot, that free up a second round pick to be a lineman.

In a vacuum? Sure. In reality? I'd greatly prefer to allocate our cap resources toward the OL and DL.

Exactly.  I'd rather spend that money on other positions of need and work on WR in the draft.  Our WR group is decent as is, and (it seems to me) WR is one of the easiest positions to get a solid rookie contributor via the draft.  If we get a great deal on him though?  For sure, let's go for it.

Huh? Are there really multiple huddlers advocating for Anderson at $10-13 million per year? And you criticize Hurney for handing out outrageous contracts? Yeah, ok. Let's invest that much in a #2/3 wr who has never had a 1000 yard season when we still have to rebuild our entire defense and fix the o line.

I would prefer to spend receiver money on Ebron, personally. Anderson would be great, but he could arguably be the top WR on the market, depending on Cooper in Big D.

I don't think we can afford the luxury that Anderson would be. Dont' get me wrong, a trio of him, Moore and Samuel would be nasty. I just think we need to invest in our trenches and DBs.

We could also go Denzel Mims in the middle rounds of the Draft.

He’s a troublemaker. Has been arrested several times in NFL. Fast as hell though.

I like his speed but he has major off the field red flags. I’m not sure if you would give this guy anything north of 10m per.

He got arrested for speeding driving a little reckless 23-25 years old with tons of money can throw off your judgment he’s good to go. Those petty charges aren’t anything to even look at he’s more then worth it.  Let’s remember this is the nfl where millions get thrown around Devin Funchess made 10 million this season (contract max was 13) Roby isn’t worth Devin money?

Didn’t he get arrested and charged with assaulting an officer in Florida, in addition to a marijuana charge? For the record, I couldn’t care less about weed and would like to see it legalized. Assaulting an officer is a big deal though.

he kept his nose clean last year and he would be a great fit for this team and fill a need. I’d be for signing him as long as he has learned from his mistakes and they don’t break the bank for him.

You want to spend receiver money on a TE who's best usage comes when he's targeted 3 to 4 times per game?  Ebron is a hard pass from me.
