Something is hanging up the process. The only thing that makes sense is that Snow is second guessing moving here, or he is up for the HC job. It’s one of the two.

On the Baylor front...

Boy, LSU guys sure do seem to be getting a lot of job interviews, huh?

Yea weird title for Al but glad he is back! Maybe someone else for the LB coach?

Remember Brady was the official passing game coach or something like that--maybe that is where this is all headed.  Think about it--as the run game coordinator, when you go through the practice stations, you have one guy over the LBs, DEs, and DTs-maybe even the CBs in contain.  Before, the DL coach and LB coach and Secondary coach had to get on the same page....I dunno.

I don't think we've had anybody with that role here before. Have to think it's a new age thing to have one coach responsible for developing a plan for the run and one for the pass to take load off of a DC. He can take their notes and look at his scheme and find the best plan of attack. Let's things be more focused and not overlooked. I like it a lot, actually.

Had it on offense. John Matsko used to have the title of Run Game Coordinator. And I think Mike McCoy might have been listed as Passing Game Coordinator at some point but I don't remember for certain.

I guess Matsko's fancy title sounded better than "The Guy Who Coaches This Lousy Offensive Line".

Teams have expanded the number, titles and duties of assistant coaches over the last few years.  I read somewhere that NE had the fewest with 15 and Tampa the most with 26.  Tepper is obviously giving Rhule the ability to set up the organization how he sees fit.
