On the nose means the statement is true of where it originates from. In this case, what I meant is that people often contend Igo promotes dumb or controversial takes here on the Huddle to boost clicks and view count.

Ah, I see. I meant that David Newton must be doing it for clicks so ESPN gets more traffic. Otherwise, I cannot fathom he would actually mean it, but you never know.
