If he goes to WAS (probably even BUF who is good but not “compete for a Super Bowl” good), that indicates the departure in Carolina was less a mutual parting of ways and more the new regime not wanting to pay a 34yo TE $11m in 2020.

This was never a "mutual parting of ways", no matter where he goes.

The team didn't want to pay him what was due next year, so they cut him. The "mutual" story is just something that allows Greg to save face.

Greg Olsen  has a very lucrative offer from Fox. He needs to take the job and forget about playing. He will be an asset on any game he calls.
