former restaurateur here.   hardest lesson in the world is learning that firing the all-star employee who is great with the public, but that makes trouble for the rest of the staff is a decision you will never regret, and neither will anyone else

On paper, it makes no sense.  Yet it works.  Never be held hostage by a good worker if that worker does not support the team concept.  Not saying this about Cam, but if there is stuff behind the scenes....

Let's not forget--a lot of the Panther veterans are feeling targeted right now.  They liked Ron---he treated them special. There is tension with Tepper.  In the TMZ video--notice that the veterans--Greg and Cam confront the camera.  Off Camera, CMC and his date stay back.  They avoid the media and hurry to the car.  It is almost as if he does not want to be part of that display--or even message.

Coincidence?  Nonsense? Who knows?

CMC walked out and didn't speak to the media the media tried to ask him regular questions and he ignored them. The cheating isn't the issue, the pile grows. You can get fired for actions not on the clock, Cam is pretty much on the clock 24/7, he is the face of a brand until he is gone. Cam wasn't even trying to get away, he clearly embraced it and acknowledged he is not level headed.

100% missing the point. It's unethical to cheat, won't lose you your job. But when you do other things, it is apart of a pile.

I do agree with you to a point that you can be fired off the clock but that’s doing some drastic things(Antonio brown comes to mind). Then I seen an assumption about him showing out at the restaurant. Really?  If he showed out, I’m sure tmz would get the story. (Those guys are relentless lol) who knows why cmac walked away. I do know a lot of people hate tmz even more so about the Kobe situation. Not saying that’s the reason. I seen that clip as him being harmless and having a good time.

Try being the owner of a business when your stockholders call pissed off. Fun isn't ok when you mess around with the media. Thankfully the Panthers aren't owned by multiple individuals since Tepper bought it. If this was Atlanta, we'd all agree this QB is gone. Cam Newton wasn't even involved in any highlight packages after he got hurt at the games, only time he was shown at any home game was the 25 season videos.

bruhhh, lol just stop.

If Cam had the same ability he had in 2015, he would no doubt have a job. But when you're getting close to getting fired for nothing but injury concerns, taking scissors and cutting the thread you're hanging on won't save you.

where the hell are you getting this. Youve offered nothing but how you feel on this.

FFS, your embarrassing yourself.

Hes trying to create his own narrative with how he perceives cams off season behavior. As if he has some insider knowledge, or is an authority in "business, and optics"

Its cringey

After reading this thread (not sure why, maybe for the same reason my wife watches the Bachelor), I have this strange urge to contact one of those online psychics.  Or maybe Carnac the Magnificent.

You'll pardon me while I go to the kitchen, get out the tin foil, and create my hat.
