I am against trading Cam, but if this is the route we are going, I hope that there is another deal right after it that involves moving up for Burrow.

Not Tua or Herbert..... but Burrow. Pair him back with an OC that arguably made him this past year into the #1 selection and we have a franchise QB on a rookie contract.

Trade Cam for an early 2nd round pick....maybe the LAC selection.

Trade our 2020 1st & 2nd, and our 2021 1st, 2nd & 4th to Cincy for #1 overall.

We would recoup the 2nd this year in the Cam trade to LA, so in essence, we get Burrow for next year's 1st, 2nd and 4th.

We would probably recoup additional comp picks next year if we let Bradberry, McCoy, etc. walk... but would depend on if we jump into FA this year.

Making this trade also opens up $18M in cap space as well.

Same, I’m not for trading cam but if it’s possible we can get burrow and cam plays a role in making that happen that makes perfect sense, I just think the bengals won’t budge on the pick ir burrow won’t force his way out like Eli

Cam, 7th pick and next years 1

This guy plays a lot of Madden. This is reality bro. That offer is not getting you Burrow not even close!

How do we know if the Bengals even value Cam Newton? You assuming they want a injury prone QB on the last year of his deal. It doesn't make sense for them to even want Cam.

Now Daniel Jeremiah is saying we are tracking the Burrow/Bengals situation...haha can we just get this over with?

It would take a Godfather offer. Im talking 2 future 1st round picks + CMC and whatever you can get for Cam.

Anything less they will laugh and hang up.

Do you really need the obvious explained to you?

If it was that easy he would have been traded by now. I don't think you guys realize Cam is 31 coming off 2 major surgeries in the last year of his contract.

Given the QB's that are about to hit FA, im trying to figure out why teams would value a injury prone QB over the healthy QB's in FA?

People make it seem like we will have plenty of suitors for Cam Newton. I don't see it.

Why would you?

We are about to find out if there are 10 teams that would trade for Cam like was posted on here recently.   Let's see how many inquire about giving him a physical and that may give us a clue what the market is for his services.

He will have very few suitors. I think Chicago is likely one of the few. Because of his health and contract he wont have a big market. Even if we trade him we aren't getting anything better than a 3rd round pick.
