Lol @ Person:  herp derp Tom Brady is now the Panthers OC so Panther’s might trade up for Burrow.  Lazy ass wannabe journalist.

*yes the name was wrong intentionally because that seems like a Person mistake to make*

To be fair he basically prefaces his article by saying he is bored more or less.  But yes, it is Joe Person lol He is the worst

Just now, Jon Snow said:

I would much rather they stay put and pick BPA at every pick.  But I rarely get what I want so there's that.

Me too, but I’m just entertaining the off chance that we get rid of Cam and trade up for a QB. In that worst case scenario, I’d rather have Tua at 3 than Burrow at 1.

Even if Burrow shuns Cincinnati we don't have the ammo to go toe to toe with Miami in a bidding war. We just need to stay put, draft Brown or Thomas and tank for Trevor

This guy gets it!

Know way we outbid Miami who could offer Cincinnati a choice of Tua and draft picks. We can't compete with them assuming they also would want Burrow.

Normally trading up to the number one slot for a sure-fire QB when a QB needy team has that first pick is an absolute pipe dream. In this case with so many factors involved, it's at least a consideration.

some of those factors:

-real drama with Burrow possibly not wanting to play for the Bengals

-Burrow's college OC just landed here

-the Panthers may be looking for a new franchise QB

-there are only a few other teams with realistic chances to go after Burrow

-Tepper

All this at least makes for some fun speculation leading up to Vegas.

Here’s my problem with it: it’s another narrative. These narratives pop up every so often, and they’re usually driven by people who don’t watch any game tape.

I haven’t even watched that much tape on Joe. I will. And then I’ll probably be more definitive in my assessment. But I’m definitely not diving headfirst into a conclusion based on what I know.

But I know people who have watched the tapes. I respect them. Based on early conclusions, I don’t know if it’s worth giving up all that will be asked.

That’s just my opinion. Certainly could be wrong about it.

One thing I think you have to factor in: Who's the OC?

How many quarterbacks have we seen thrive under Andy Reid yet look awful playing for someone else?

Likewise, is Joe Burrow with another OC the same quarterback as Joe Burrow with Joe Brady?

It's worth considering.
