Rhule spoke of traits of positions today.....he likes 6’ 2”+ WRs.....Jarius 5’10”.   Look for them to draft tall WR to replace him.

We only have one receiver that height, Brandon Zylstra.

Both our current starters are 5'11.

Give me, Give Me in rd 3

I think if we want him, he has to be our round 2 selection, or we move into the back half of the second round to snag him. I think he blows away the combine and won't last until round 3.

That being said, Mims makes too much sense. He gives us a third option at WR, brings in a taller receiver that is the Muhammad to our shifty/smaller WRs. Plus, if we for some reason we don't have the cap available to re-sign Samuel, a future of DJ/Mims is pretty nasty.

This is a Strong WR class

He's WR #11 on most peoples boards.

I just dont see 11 WRs going before our 3rd pick

Figured as much. Didn't really serve a purpose that wasn't already being filled, and wasn't really worth what we were paying.

We're going to go out and get a taller WR to go up and compete for balls. It's insane that we didn't really have that last year.

Grab someone on the lines 1st rd, then go after WR in the 2nd. I wouldn’t even be upset if we spent the rest of the draft on defense and the OL.

The QB under center last year hurt Wright, and is why he didn’t look as good last season. I would’ve loved to keep him, because he’d be a solid 3/4 receiver with Cam back, but I understand the move.

Im just happy, because with the lack of receivers we currently have, it puts us possibly in play for Jeudy.

Bur the QB undercenter didnt cause him to drop so many easy passes this past year.  He really took a step back this year reguardless of the QB situation.

Seems like a good guy, but when we had a need for that particular type of outlet possession receiver last season, he just faded away. He was always supposed to be that guy and looked like he could be in his first season with us.

Hope he finds a home out there, but we really need to develop someone else.
