Panthers decline option on Jarius Wright

DeAndrew White is a RFA and will re-signed cheaply.  He's the #4 and looked good in his limited appearances.  Considering Allen's deep ball accuracy was 32nd in the League last year, Samuel's number should have been better, while not half bad anyway.  I can't count how many times Samuel had his man beat and Kyle simply missed Curtis.

We have WRs, the people banging the table for WRs is looking for a 1b prospect.   That's fine, but don't make it seem like the roster is nearly void of WRs.

Yep, I just went back and looked at the numbers. His best years were with Teddy in Minnesotta and the only time he's matched those numbers were this year. The problem is that he's not 23 years old anymore with the excuse that he's a young player trying to grow from his mistakes. He's a veteran about the reach the decline of his career still making the same mistakes that he did when he was a young player.

Been saying for a while to the "get Cam back and we put up monster numbers because of weapons" stuff, but if Moore or CMC were to go down, we are....ummmmmm....not looking so great in the "weapons" department.

Let's say we lose Moore in the 3rd game.

We currently would have Samuel, Thomas, and CMC as players who have played meaningful snaps, and caught footballs during games on the current roster.

and TBF, keeping Wright on that cheap deal would have been better. Another boneheaded Hurney move. Who's old AF and a FA this year? Is Anquan Boldin still in the NFL? Watch us pay 20 million dollars for Sanu. Most of you here would FAP to that thought.

Need veteran experience b/c right now, those receivers have absolutely none. Stupid decision for the cost of the player.

I, personally think its the right move to dump Wright, however I don't think it's the right move to bring Cam back at this point, with the way that we are building the team.
