Draft Damien Lewis to replace Trai Turner

I don’t know much about Damian Lewis, but do know it’s easier to replace Guards than Left Tackles. I think we draft a Guard/center in the first 3 rounds

And? Right now we are down two starting Gs and our C sucked balls for $9M. We draft a C/G, which we should have done last year instead of Little and we still have a crappy C and a hole at the other G. In 2021, we’ll likely have two holes again. It’s too bad in two solid interior OL drafts the past two years we drafted 0 Cs or Gs after losing Norwell and Kalil. In 3 years we’ve lost the entire starting interior OL we had in 2017 and we did zippo in the past two drafts. We’ve got 3 more tackles for the LT spot though. Maybe we can break our sacks given up record in 2020.

You mean this Damien Lewis??

That is the reason one will be a top 10 pick and the other a mid rounder. Derrick Brown would have done the same damn thing to “pro bowler” Trai Turner.

If Lewis can play similar to pre contract Turner he will be a steal in the 4th.

These guys are like twins. Both are right guards from LSU who's strengths are in run blocking. Very similar in size, build, and draft profile. He would be a steal in the 4th round.

Yes, and Lloyd Cushenberry, Joe Brady might like that. I also like Onwenu from Michigan.

Hennessy from Temple in the third round, play him at guard for a season before moving him to Center next season. If Paradis can hold up and hopefully show some ability.

If Paradis is still broken down, can move Hennessy right to center, and develop a guard.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
